Superforms OpenAPI specification

The machine-readable OpenAPI 3.1 contract for authenticated form drafts, publishing, form reads, and response retrieval.

Canonical specification

The live JSON specification is served at /api/actions/openapi. It defines unique operation IDs, OAuth scopes, typed parameters and request bodies, success schemas, and structured error responses.

Operations

  • createSuperformsDraft — create a private draft.
  • updateSuperformsDraft — revise a private draft.
  • publishSuperformsDraft — publish only after explicit creator confirmation.
  • listSuperforms — list forms owned by the connected account.
  • getSuperform — retrieve one owned form.
  • getSuperformResponses — retrieve durable asynchronous responses.

Compatibility

The schema is suitable for ordinary OAuth-capable API clients and agent action surfaces. Its draft-review-publish contract is separate from the native /mcp/app tool create_form, which publishes immediately. The native endpoint also exposes MCP Apps UI and feature-gated MCP Events; those are not Actions API operations.
